Shrink pot gouge

Forged from EN9, the curved section is approximate 19cm long with a diameter of approximately 30mm, and width of approximately 25mm. These have sockets instead of tangs which lends itself to shrink pots as it is stronger and helps protect the handle. There are two wood choices for handles, pear and purpleheart (purpleheart being the darker coloured wood). They come with a mild steel ferrule to help prevent mushrooming and splitting of the handle. There are two different handle lengths,measured from the top of the socket, to the top of the ferrule. The long handles are approx 13cm long and the short handles are approx 10cm long. The perfect tool for shrink pots!
